Max Factor | Luminizer Foundation

Hey There,

Ok, so this foundation came out, must be a year or so ago, and I am ashamed to admit it remained unopened until recently. I came to a point with my beauty pile, where I decided I needed to use up what I had, instead of having half empty bottles of foundation... and the rest. Upon this decision, I rediscovered a lot that I had put in a 'to blog about' pile, and obviously forgotten about.... Anyway, the Max Factor luminizer foundation was one of those stashed away.

I have said before that I don't look for a foundation with a heavy coverage, I like a natural in-between dewy and matte look, (I don't ask for much, do I?). I just hope that it covers enough that my skin looks even and it wears all day. And just FYI, before this foundation I was wearing Benefits Hello flawless.

I wasn't sure if I would blog about this one, not because I didn't love it, (because I do) but because it's gone so far past it's launch. But when you get people complimenting you on your make up and your skin, (These people being work colleagues, may I add. And we all know work colleagues see us at our worst, right?) I had to share my love for it on here.

I wear the shade 'natural' and always apply with my favourite, the beauty blender. I would say it gives a medium coverage, I go for two applications for a night out, but tend to stick to just one for the day time. It does have more of a dewy finish, with it's skin illuminizers all responsible for making me look more awake and radiant, for sure!

What do you look for in your foundation?

Lots of love,
KBxx

  1. I originally tried this in a sachet when it was first released and have since purchased further bottles of it. It is good for when I need only medium coverage with a natural finish and when I don't have too many blemishes to cover. My mum absolutely loves it and uses it on a daily basis. Your review is spot on about this product x

  2. Oh this sounds nice, I've never really tried too much of Max Factor products but I'm a fan of benefits hello flawless so this could save me some pennies.

    1. I have got through a couple Hello Flawless bottles myself and I definitely prefer this Max Factor one. Let me know how you get on with it if you try it?

  3. We are the same on wishing "a natural in-between dewy and matte look"
The only foundation that behave like that on my face is Double Wear from Estee Lauder but reading your review I will give Max Factor a try :)

  5. This sounds really nice! I tend to go for a full coverage but I don't like it to feel too heavy on my skin... Not too much to ask!?
