Touch of Silver | Blondes

Hey there,

I love being blonde, but I won't lie, it can sometimes seem incredibly high maintenance...

To start with you need to find a great colourist, who gets you 'your' kinda blonde. You need to be ok with getting roots, make weekly hair oils and masks your thing, and discover an excellent shampoo that keeps you 'blonde blonde'.

I think most blondes will agree, that we always need some brightening a few weeks out of the salon. I'm personally not a fan of the brassy blonde, (I think I'm a particularly fussy blonde, a hairdressers nightmare probably) thank god for silver shampoo.

I've used the Touch of Silver* shampoo before, a brand my mother introduced me to, but never their conditioner, primer or keratin shots. I didn't even realise they did all these other products! Obviously I've got to thank my amazing hairdresser, but I can honestly say I am so happy with my colour blonde right now, and Touch of Silver has definitely had an influence.

I've been really impressed by their keratin shots, I've gone from blonde to ombré and back to blonde, and that extra coating of bleach has left my hair feeling a little bit dry, (especially at the ends). After just one use of the keratin shot, someone complimented me on how shiny my hair was, and my ends felt soft, (although my hair is definitely in need of another shot right now!) I wasn't too keen on the smell, it would be nice if they could make it some kinda coconut scent or something, but at least it works.

How do you look after your hair?

Lots of love,
KBxx

  1. I'm always on the hunt now of products that will help keep my balayage bright. I never knew Touch of Sliver done all these products, defiantly want to try those shots!
