Beauty | Bjork and Berries

Hey There,

Hands up who will go through their face creams and all the rest like there's no tomorrow, but the body products you were given at Christmas, (Literally) last you until the following year? This was me up until about a year ago, (Could be more, could be less, I have no concept of time anymore).

I have been in the beauty industry the best part of 8 years, done a ridiculous amount of body treatments, and dished out a lot of advice when it comes to body care, (I've just obviously chosen to ignore this myself). Having worked with Clarins products, and fallen in love with their Tonic oil, it's opened my eyes up to a whole new beauty addiction. And now I'm as obsessive with my body care routine, and as particular with my body care products, as I am my skincare. Not only do I body brush almost daily, exfoliate regularly, but I also cover the body in a rich body cream in the morning, and lather myself in an oil or serum in the evening.

I tend to get a bit more spendy on my oils or serums, as they hold more active ingredients than creams do, and as I'm not exactly balling, (And to be fair it's pretty great stuff), I stick to Superdrug's Vitamin E range for my body cream and exfoliator. Recently I've swapped the Clarins Tonic Oil, for a lovely Swedish Ecoluxury body serum, from Bjork and Berries. It first caught my attention when I overheard someone saying how calming and soothing it was on their skin, after they had a slight waxing fail. Once I had smelt it, (Infused with Cucumber, Lemon and a Birch) I was pretty hooked, and then I read the ingredients, tried it, and practically ran to the till and home to soak in it, (Not quite literally but almost).

The Bjork and a Berries Re-Activating Body Serum, is an organic luxury oil moisturiser, with beautiful active ingredients. To be exact, the ingredients are 99.9% natural origin, and 75% organic. It's rich in Omegas 3, 6 and 9, Vitamin E, Borage seed oil, Sunflower seed oil, and Jojoba seed oil. All there to increase your skins cellular regeneration, (Definitely need some of that), while the Vitamin E works as an antioxidant for the skin. It literally feels amazing on the skin, and apparently I've been doing it all wrong, as Bjork and Berries suggest to apply it to damp skin!

If you haven't heard of Bjork and a Berries, go have a look on their site and read about their Ecoluxury Philosophy.

Lots of love,

P.S Sorry I didn't get a chance to post on here last Sunday, it's been a little crazy, (And that is an understatement), in the world of house hunting. But we are back on schedule now.
